Eliminating Unwelcome Hair: Some More Methods
Earlier we discussed several techniques for removing unwelcome body hair, and we're not done. Let's go over additional techniques.
Other electric appliances appeared with diverse ways of getting rid of the undesired hair with rotating blades and even tweezer-type torture. Some electric razors function very well. Most of the other equipment were a way to separate you from your cash. Even the outstanding of the razors is a very temporary fix.
The first, and still most lasting of the hair removal options, is electrolysis. A technician inserts a small probe into the hair follicle and electrocutes it. Without doubt, the hair rarely makes another apppearance. If it does, a repeat of the treatment ordinarily kills it dead. The trouble with electrolysis is that it sometimes leaves scarring (no surprise there) and it takes large amounts of treatments to finally track down the last of the elusive rascals.
Now the time we've all been waiting for! Enter laser hair removal. No longer is electrocution the rage. Instead, the hair follicle is fricassed. Now, laser techniques range in permanance from 3 months to 1 year. Rarely is enduring (as in never-have-to-shave-again) removal really lasting. Each year brings even more refinement and exploration to the goal of the (at least partially) hairless human. And laser hair removal appears the best way to that goal.
The outstanding long-lasting hair removal pick, of course, varies from person to person. Accordingly, you should check each hair removal procedure for yourself. If you are unable to do the research on your own, you may wish to consider scheduling a consultation appointment with a hair removal office in your location. A consultation gives you the opportunity to learn more about a specific procedure.
Both electrolysis and laser hair removal are fairly expensive. While their worth may be high, it is important to remember that about all other hair removal options are not permanent. If you figure the cost of materials needed for these temporary procedures and the time spent shopping for them, using them and cleaning up after them, they may end up costing just as much and maybe more than laser hair removal or electrolysis.
